SiteLock badge or TrustSeal is an image that can be visible on your website to assure users that your website is secure and malware-free. SiteLock performs daily scanning and the TrustSeal is updated everyday to indicate that all the scans are performed successfully.

What is SMART?

Secure Malware Alert and Removal Tool (SMART), if enabled, performs an in-depth site scan and automatically blocks malicious code from files on the site. SiteLock makes calls to the web server and duplicates the website files on their secure servers by scanning the content completely to identify malicious code or vulnerabilities. In the course of doing this, it can also remove the malicious code from the files, to avoid further damage. You can choose not to allow SMART to remove any code. In that case, you will only be notified of the vulnerability identified, and you will need to manually check and remove it.

What is Content Delivery Network (CDN) ?

A Content Delivery Network is a set of servers, expanded across the world that cache your website pages. When a user requests your website, the server closest to the user’s location will serve those requested results. Due to this website open 10x faster without speeding up its performance.

If my website is infected, will the TrustSeal display an infected sign to the visitors on site?

If a scan fails, site visitors will not be able to see infected signs. The TrustSeal only displays the last date when all scans were performed. Incase site owner fails to rectify the problem within a few days, SiteLock will remove the TrustSeal from the site. (The TrustSeal will never indicate that a website has failed a scan.)

  2. Once the verification is completed you will receive SSL certificate from Comodo within 1-2 hours.
  3. Now you can iGenerate CSR from your hosting panel.
  4. Provide us the CSR so that we can issue your SSL certificate.
  5. A verification email will be sent to admin/ webmaster/ hostmaster/ postmaster/ other email id which matchesnstall a certificate under the SSL/TLS section or provide us the SSL certificate and our support team will install it for you.
  6. Once SSL is installed successfully, your website will open with “https” having a padlock sign in, in it.
  7. Make sure you redirect all pages from “http” to “https” with the help of your website developer.
